The Winter Table

Winter is the cold and dark season when we substitute the lack of light with lots of light indoors; candles, log fires, sparkling Christmas trees.

We drink hot, steaming drinks. Red is the colour of Christmas, and white is the colour of the snow that surrounds us. Wreaths of fir tree branches, gingerbread men, frosted glasses.
