Design and Decoration

Several of the Nordic countries are famous world-wide for their design, their glass and tableware and chinaware of high quality. Ittala, Royal Copenhagen, Orrefors, Marimekko and Rörstrand are but a few of the companies whose products are appreciated and recognised globally.

Consequently, when deciding how to decorate the table, it won´t be hard to find both stylish and smart designs from the Nordic region that add to the presentation.

If you want to go for a more traditional approach, you can find skilled craftsmen in many places who still make earthenware plates, cups and other decorative objects in regional designs and still use local materials and traditional patterns.
