Denmark
Denmark´s flat and fertile farmland is of course reflected in the country´s traditional cuisine. Meats from the many animal breeding farms are transformed into a huge range of cold cuts and pâtés which garnish the classic smörrebröd. The small kingdom consists of a number of islands, each with their own culinary specialities.
Läsö, for example, is famous for its sea salt and its exceptional seafood and Bornholm for the traditional smoked herring.
